The Finance/Accounting Department serves the corporate needs of our company and manages the commissions paid to the independent sales associates, freeing them to focus on what they do best: providing excellence in client service.
The professional, in-house marketing and advertising staff originates themes, writes copy, and creates graphic design for our direct-mail, print and internet advertising including the Houston Chronicle and other national and local newspapers, PROPERTIES Magazine and other magazine media, special advertising campaigns, and the Martha Turner Sotheby's International Realty Facebook page.
When an individual who is not represented by a Realtor® calls Martha Turner Sotheby's International Realty for information about listings, there is a licensed employee available to answer questions and schedule appointments to show them properties.
We employ a staff of licensed Realtors®, available to book appointments to bring potential buyers to listings. These professionals manage and guide the appointment process from start to finish, and accompany the appointment - show the property - when required. They maintain seller information and showing instructions for more than 500 MTSIR listings, and keep MTSIR listing sales associates informed of all appointments.
The IT team maintains day-to-day operations with a five-office network that offers services to approximately 260 sales associates affiliated with the company, assistants, and support staff. A company-wide video conferencing system allows management and staff to be available to the independent sales associates at all times for virtual education sessions and company meetings. The IT team maintains a top-of-the-line Microsoft Exchange email system with redundancy and a 99.9% uptime. The team also maintains and supports our state-of-the-art intranet and other internal applications used daily.
The eMarketing Department maintains company presence on the web to allow consumers to search for homes, sales associates, and information about Houston-area neighborhoods, whether they are using a mobile device or a desktop computer. In addition, our eMarketing Specialist assists sales associates in their marketing efforts with an integrated platform that makes it easy to manage email and social media marketing.
Martha Turner Sotheby's International Realty has three highly-experienced, knowledgeable sales managers on staff to guide and assist a sales force of more than 260 sales associates affiliated with five offices. Sales managers are on-call every day to answer questions and help with any issue that arises in the course of a transaction.
To ensure total and complete accuracy in contracts, there are two experienced, licensed, full-time Contract Coordinators who review and manage the files for every sale pending listing in the company until it is closed and funded.
The Community Outreach Manager creates and maintains the accuracy of company agents' "farm" areas, neighborhoods that sales associates prospect through support and participation in community events and direct mail campaigns; oversees all farming activities; and acts as a liaison for the independent sales associates and the company in matters involving Community Funds requests.
The back-office support consists of the entire staff, including licensed assistants. This team is dedicated to the preparation and maintenance of a working environment that encourages and inspires an elite sales force.
